Description
HN-h total RNA was prepared from passage one culture of Human Neurons-Hippocampus using Qiagen RNeasy kit. Total RNA concentration was determined by DU 800 UV/Visible spectrophotometer. An aliquot of 10 μg was stored at -80°C.

RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, RNA protection assay, northern blot analysis, purification of mRNA for library construction, PCR-select cDNA subtraction, and DNA micro array.
Storage
Store the RNA immediately at -80°C upon arrival. To ensure stability, it is recommended to aliquot the RNA into single-use fractions to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

• Residual DNA: not detected by RT-PCR.

Note:
With the Qiagen AllPrep DNA/RNA Mini kit, all RNA molecules larger than 200nt are isolated. RNA molecules <200nt are selectively excluded.
