Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
Specificity and Use
PDIA4 / ERP72 antibody was raised against a 16 residue synthetic peptide (C)FIDEHATKRSRTKEEL based on the mouse ERp72 (residues 623-638) with the cysteine (C) residue added and the peptide coupled to KLH. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Mouse, Rat (100%); Hamster (94%); Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Bovine, Turkey, Chicken (88%); Pig, Platypus (81%).
aa623-638
Detects an ~72 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of ERp72.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3756 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3756 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
