Specificity and Use

Immunogen:	VPREB3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide EAHNACVLTISPVQ from an internal region of human VPREB3 (NP_037510.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (100%); Elephant, Panda, Dog (86%).
Epitope:	Internal
Specificity:	Human VPREB3.
Usage:	Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 26 kDa band in Human Lymph Node lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 13.7 kDa according to NP_037510.1. The 26 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
