Immunogen:	APOLD1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-KSSRGHDLKISADQ from the C-terminus of human APOLD1 / Apolipoprotein L D1 (NP_110444.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (100%); Marmoset, Bovine (93%); Panda, Bat, Rabbit (86%).
Epitope:	C-Terminus
Specificity:	Human APOLD1 / Apolipoprotein L D1.
Usage:	Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 37kD band in Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 27.2kD according to NP_110444.1 The 37kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies / lysates? Have any further splice variants / modified forms been reported?
