3' EndTag DNA Labeling System |
|
|
The 3' EndTag Nucleic Acid Labeling System enables simple and uniform labeling of DNA 3' ends. A choice of diverse labels
(fluorochromes, haptens, affinity ligands) gives this system outstanding versatility.
- No interference with hybridization or sequence-specific protein binding
- More efficient labeling for short oligonucleotides
- More economical

5' EndTag Nucleic Acid Labeling System |
|
|
The 5' EndTag™ Nucleic Acid Labeling System facilitates the covalent attachment of a variety of fluorescent dyes,
haptens, or affinity tags to the 5' end of unmodified oligonucleotides or 5'-OH modified DNA or RNA.
Ideal for :
Labeling PCR and sequencing primers
Binding of capture probes to affinity matrices
Gel shift assays

FastTag Basic Labeling Kit |
|
|
Incorporation of a variety of labels at multiple sites along the entire length of the nucleic acid.
Label single- or double-stranded DNA, RNA or PNA (peptide nucleic acid) : incorporate on average one label every twenty base pairs.
System based on aryl azide chemistry in which the reagent, when exposed either to heat or light,
becomes activated and incorporates into the nucleic acid to which any
thiol-reactive compound can be attached. Labeling is not base-specific.

Optimization of probe length for ISH |
|
|
NicKit™ p.s.o. (probe size optimization) has been developed to reduce the size of large DNA probes using
a photo/enzymatic procedure without the problem of over- or under- digestion experienced with other methods. A
smaller probe size generally results in better signal and lower background for ISH applications, probably due to
better tissue penetration of the probe.

Seperate Same-Size DNA by Sequence Variation |
|
|
The ability to resolve DNAs of similar size in a gel is critical for applications such as differential display
and Rapid Amplification of Polymorphic DNAs (RAPD) in which multiple DNA species of similar size need to be
separated before subsequent excision and analysis. Two sequence specific DNA lignads in the Resolve-It™ kit
bind to GC- or AT- rich sites on DNA in a sequence specific manner.
