Boric acid is a common buffer component for electrophoresis and coating solutions. When combined with Sodium tetraborate, it offers a lower conductivity and faster run time than traditional TBE or TAE.

Boric acid is readily soluble in water. We offer a number of high quality sodium borate buffers as well as Borate-buffered saline for ELISA.
