Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-Rabbit Serum, Rat IgM, and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against other rat heavy or light chain proteins.

Usage
Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgM in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate catalog no. NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
