This is a broad-spectrum antibody which has been reported to differentiate epithelial tumors from non-epithelial tumors. Many studies have shown the usefulness of keratins as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.

Applications: 
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/million cells 
Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1.0ug/ml 
Western Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml 
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen & formalin-fixed: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 min at RT
(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control:
A431 cells, Skin, Colon carcinoma

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
