-20°CThe protein encoded by the RAD54 gene belongs to the DEAD like helicase superfamily and shares similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAD54. RAD54 has been shown to play a role in homologous recombination related repair of DNA double strand breaks. The binding of this protein to double strand DNA induces a DNA topological change, which is thought to facilitate homologous DNA paring and stimulate DNA recombination.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 Ag.14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
