TE, Tris EDTA, is a sterile buffer that has a pH level of 8.0 brought up with HCl and is stored at room temperature. It contains 10 mM Tris and 1 mM EDTA. It is of biotechnology grade and no DNase activity is detected. Our TE Buffer is used to solubilize DNA or RNA while protecting it from degradation. TE (Tris-EDTA) is commonly used for DNA isolation and electrophoresis protocols.
