Biological Activity

Alcian blue 8GX (alcian blue 8GX) is widely used as a heteroglycan dye to dye acidic, neutral, sulfated and phosphorylated polysaccharides and glycosaminoglycans in tissues (such as cartilage and extracellular matrix). It is also suitable for optical microscopic decoration and electrical detection.
