Thyrotropic hormone or Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) belongs to glycoprotein hormone family. Thyrotropic hormone from bovine pituitary can be used for TSH stimulation test for assessing the thyroid gland function after NTI induction. The product was injected in 4-week-old male C57BL/6J and CBA/N mice for studying the thyrotropin involvement in photoperiodic signal transduction.
