NFκB p65 Antibody (F-6) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal NF kappa B p65 antibody (also designated RelA antibody, p65 antibody or NFKB3 antibody) that detects the NF kappa B p65 protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P), FCM and ELISA. NFκB p65 Antibody (F-6) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-NF kappa B p65 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-NF kappa B p65 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Proteins encoded by the v-Rel viral oncogene and its cellular homolog, c-Rel, are members of a family of transcription factors that include the two subunits of the transcription factor NκB (p50 and p65) and the Drosophila maternal morphogen, dorsal. Both proteins specifically bind to DNA sequences that are the same or slight variations of the 10 bp κB sequence in the immunoglobulin κ light chain enhancer. This same sequence is also present in a number of other cellular and viral enhancers. The DNA binding activity of NFκB is activated and NFκB is subsequently transported from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in cells exposed to mitogens or growth factors. cDNAs encoding precursors for two distinct proteins of the same size have been described, designated p105 and p100. The p105 precursor contains p50 at its N-terminus and a C-terminal region that when expressed as a separate molecule, designated pdI, binds to p50 and regulates its activity.

I used sc-8008 on mouse skin, normal and imiquimod treated. Whereas the staining on the normal epidermis was intense and cytoplasmic in the basal layer, it almost disappeared on the inflammatory IMQ-treated skin epidermis. Did somebody experience the same
Does anybody know if this product reacts with pig p65? it seems to be the most popular p65 antibody at SC.
I need an antibody that will detect RELA in IHC, and I see that the NFκB p65 Antibody (C-20) sc-372 has been discontinued (it was referenced in a publication) and I was redirected here. Will this antibody (sc-8008) also detect RELA?
Buen día, saben por qué el anticuerpo NFκB p65 Anticuerpo (F-6), detecta dos bandas? y lo mismo ocurre con el anticuerpo para detectar p65 fosforilada. Gracias
Is this AB compatible with m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102 secondary AB?
Hi, I am testing this antibody to detect nuclear nf-kb in my cell lines. Could you suggest a protocol to isolate and only stain the nuclei with this antibody for flow cytometry? Thank you in advance for your help.
We have this antibody and another that binds to phosphoNF-kB p65. We would like to know if this antibody (NFκB p65 Anticorpo (F-6): sc-8008) binds to total NF-kB (normal + phosphorilated) or only the normal version of the protein?
Does this antibody suitable for ChIP-seq assay (with mouse brain tissue sample)?
