Polystyrene 6-well inserts for 3D culture - Alvetex Scaffold

Polystyrene 6-well inserts for 3D culture - Alvetex Scaffold

Polystyrene Alvetex® Scaffold 6-well inserts provide a reproducible 3D cell culture platform for generating physiologically relevant tissue models. Constructed from a highly porous, inert polystyrene scaffold, they support cell infiltration, three-dimensional organization, endogenous extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition, and enhanced cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions, resulting in cellular morphology and function that more closely resemble native tissues than conventional 2D monolayers. The suspended insert design enables medium access from both the apical and basal compartments, improving nutrient and oxygen diffusion for long-term culture, co-culture, and air–liquid interface applications. Compatible with standard molecular, histological, imaging, and biochemical assays, Alvetex® Scaffold 6-well inserts are widely used in tissue engineering, cancer research, stem cell biology, drug discovery, and toxicology, providing robust and reproducible in vitro models with enhanced biological relevance.
