Kanamycin Sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with activity against many Gram-negative bacteria. It works by binding to the ribosomal subunit and inhibiting protein synthesis. Kanamycin is often used as a selective agent for the incorporation of Neomycin phophotransferase (APH3') gene in plant and animal cells.

Kanamycin Sulphate is provided a Biotechnology Grade powder with a potency of >750 U/mg.
