Activity
5-10ug/ml will agglutinate type A or B cells. 2ug/ml will agglutinate type O cells. Less than 0.5ug/ml will agglutinate neuraminidase treated erythrocytes.

b-D-Galactose (nominally). The lectin recognizes the structure Gal-GalNAc-serine (or threonine).
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Other Notes
Small volumes of Agaricus bisporus lectin vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
