Laemmli SDS-Sample Buffer is used to visualize proteins when performing gel electrophoresis. The presence of 2-Mercaptoethanol facilitates reduction.

For use in SDS-PAGE, dilute this 4X buffer to 1X with 3 parts of the protein sample.

Bring solution to room temperature and shake/stir well before using. If SDS falls out of solution, gently increase temperature while stirring.
