Product Description
This kit grows undifferentiated rat embryonic stem cells and differentiates them into desired cell types. The kit contains Matrix, Media sets and reagents.
Celprogen has developed a cell free matrix (no mouse feeder layer is used) and serum free media (no serum required). However this kit may be used for other sources of stem cells.
In general, this universal stem cell culture system (Differentiation Media and Matrix) will differentiated stem cells into endothermal, mesodermal and ectodermal tissues. Specific differentiations require the following kits.
Rat embryonic stem cells are obtained from 32-64 stages of blastocyte
The recommended order size of each medium and matrix are 6 packs per 500 mL medium and 6 pack pack of extracellular matrices for undifferentiation, differentiation and expansion.
The T25 flasks (for initial culture and differentiation) and T75 flasks (for expansion culture) are required as a set.
