96 Tests PN: B312249

Components:

45x Ab-conjugated beads (S5P3 - Rat sVCAM-1 Ab-bead). PN: B312249A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-rat sVCAM-1 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S5P3.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (Rat sVCAM-1 Biotin-dAb). PN: B312249B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-rat sVCAM-1.

Lyophilized Standard Mix - Rat Group 2 Panel B, 7-Plex. PN: RG20007. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant rat LIX, MCP-1, MCP-3, RANTES, SDF-1, ICAM-1, and VCAM-1.  Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying Rat VCAM-1/sCD106 . Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Rat Group 2. To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex Mouse/Rat Basic Kit (PN: P200201) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Assay Specifications:

Description:

Vascular cell adhesion protein 1 also known as vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1) or cluster of differentiation 106 (CD106) is a protein that functions as a cell adhesion molecule. The VCAM-1 protein mediates the adhesion of lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils to vascular endothelium. It also functions in leukocyte-endothelial cell signal transduction, and it may play a role in the development of atherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Diseases associated with VCAM1 include Mooren's Ulcer and vasculitis.
