The OVA257-264 octapeptide was one of the frst OVA epitopes to be characterised, it has an amino acid sequence SIINFEKL, which is recognised by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. SIINFEKL forms fbrillar assemblies similar to other peptide hydrogels. Te immunoactive properties of this peptide can therefore be related to its self-assembling nature. |
