Cellulase RS (Onozuka RS)

Cellulase Onozuka RS is used to decompose natural cellulose in plant cells and expose protoplasts. It is derived from a mutant of the same parent strain of Trichoderma viride for Cellulase Onozuka R-10, boasting a higher activity of 16 U/mg.

Many recommend using Cellulase RS at 1.5-2.0% after treating plant tissue with Macerozyme R-10. bioWORLD offers a high quality Protoplast Regeneration Medium, as well as Kao and Michayluk Medium and a number of Murashige and Skoog (MS) Media formulations to best fit your plant tissue culture needs.
