Quality Control Testing
Western Blot: Histone H4, acetylated antibodies detected increased levels of acetylated histone H4 in acid extracts of HeLa cells treated with 5mM sodium butyrate. Resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with a Histone H4, acetylated antibody, varying dilutions. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
