The SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgG and IgM tests are qualitative and quantitative immunoassays for the demonstration of human IgG or IgM antibodies directed against Parvovirus B19 in serum or plasma. The SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgM is recommended for the sensitive detection of acute infections. The SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgG test serves for the confirmation of a contact with the pathogen as well as for determination of the immune status. The combined use of SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgG and IgM tests allows for the differentiation between acute and past infections.

SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgG/IgM are quantitative and qualitative tests for detection of human antibodies in serum or plasma against Parvovirus B19.

NOTE: Pretreatment of samples with RFAbsorbent (Z200) is recommended for use with IgM ELISA kits to eliminate presence of sample rheumatoid factors and possible false negative results.
