AddexBio Serum-Free Cryopreservation Medium is a liquid cryopreservation medium without antibiotics, antimycotics, hormones, growth factors, serum or proteins from animals or additives. It is an animal component-free and protein-free cell freezing medium, which is a perfect alternative to DMSO plus FBS freezing medium.
Applications:
AddexBio Serum-Free Cryopreservation Medium is intended for freezing and storing a variety of mammalian cell types including human keratinocytes, stem cells, most mammalian cancer or primary cells. Cells cryopreserved using this medium show levels of viability and percent attachment (adherent cells) that are comparable to cells preserved in DMSO plus FBS. Serum-Free Cryopreservation Medium can be used for both cells cultured in serum-supplemented growth medium and cells grown under serum-free conditions.
