This Allophycocyanin (APC) conjugate is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.4, 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide as a preservative.

This APC conjugate is stable when stored at 28°C. Do not freeze.

AntiHuman Kappa is specific for kappa light chains of human immunoglobulins. This antibody also recognizes free kappa light chains and BenceJones kappa light chains. It is not reactive with lambda light chains. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multistep affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Approximately 50% of normal human Blymphocytes express kappa light chains. Bcell leukemias may express either kappa or lambda light chains.
