Description

N-palmitoyl-D-sphingomyelin (sphingomyelin 16:0) is a component of LDL-carrying liposomes. N-palmitoyl-D-sphingomyelin can be used in colorectal cancer research[1][2].

In Vivo

N-Palmitoyl-D-Sphingomyelin (100  μM, 3 days) combined with a respiratory chain inhibitor rescues cell death induction in HCT116 spheroids[2].
