Bioactivity

Description	S-Adenosyl-L-methionine iodide is a universal methyl donor in vivo, participating in the methylation of DNA, RNA, and proteins, playing a core role in gene regulation and cellular homeostasis.
In vitro	S-Adenosyl-L-methionine iodide (300 µM) induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in oral squamous cell carcinoma cells by downregulating cyclins B1, E1, and D1 [4]. It also enhances the sensitivity of cancer cells to 5-FU by modulating the expression of DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs) [5].
In vivo	Oral administration of S-Adenosyl-L-methionine iodide (30 mg/kg) prevents ASD-like neurobehavioral symptoms and normalizes redox potential in mouse models [6]. It also demonstrates anti-epileptic and memory-enhancing properties by reducing oxidative stress in seizure-induced rat models [7].

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
