TAE Buffer - 10x conc.

A 10x concentration of TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA). Buffer contains: 0.4 M Tris 0.01 M EDTA 0.2 M Acetic Acid TAE is an extensivley used buffer for agarose gel electrophoresis ap-plications requiring high resolution and separation of high molecular weight, double-stranded DNA. TAE Buffer is more compatible with in-gel manipulations and band recovery procedures than TBE Buffer.
