Tristearin [555-43-1]

Tristearin (Glycerol tristearate) is a triglyceride derived from three units of stearic acid^[1].

Tristearin is a commonly used solid-lipid nanoparticle (SLN) component for constructing drug delivery carriers. Tristearin increases the cellular uptake rate of carried drugs, thereby enhancing the drug efficacy^[2].
