Description
Ractopamine, a beta agonist, is used as a feed additive to promote leanness in pigs raised for their meat. Despite its use in industrial countries such as the United States and Canada, it is banned in 150 other countries, including the European Union and China. Ractopamine has been shown to induce aggression and phyciological effects in pigs.
Each vial contains 0.5 ml of antigen covalently bound to horseradish peroxidase suitable for use as a tracer in immunoassay development with Ractopamine Antibody (Cat. No. 252445). The conjugate is supplied as a concentrate. Determine best dilution for assay and use immediately after dilution. E: 1:200-1:2,000
