Conditionnement : 500mg

Marque : MedChemExpress

Description

Cholesteryl acetate (Cholesterol 3-acetate) is a cholesterol ester that is exported from Saccharomyces cerevisiae via a Pry1-dependent mechanism. Cholesteryl acetate binds to the CAP superfamily protein Pry1 via interactions dependent on Pry1’s caveolin-binding motif[1][2].

In Vitro

Cholesteryl acetate (50 pmol; 1 h) requires the caveolin-binding motif of purified Saccharomyces cerevisiae Pry1 for selective binding, as mutations in this motif eliminate cholesteryl acetate competition with cholesterol for binding, while other mutations do not affect this interaction[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
