-20°CCoproporphyrinogen-III oxidase, mitochondrial precursor, also known as CPOX, is a 454aa mitochondrial enzyme that is localized to the inner membrane space of erythrocytes. It participates in the sixth step of heme biosynthesis by catalyzing the formation of protoporphyrinogen IX from coproporphyrinogen III. Mutations in human CPOX gene predict the clinical outcome of the disease, with either hepatic hereditary coproporphyria or hematological manifestations of erythropoietic harderoporphyria.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
