Description:
PCR Buffer KCl is recommended for use in routine PCR reactions. It is optimized for high specificity and guarantees minimal by-product formation.

Content:
PCR Buffer KCl (green cap)
200 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.5, 25 °C), 500 mM KCl and 15 mM MgCl₂.

Optimization of MgCl₂ concentration:
A final Mg²⁺ concentration of 1.5 mM is recommended for most PCR applications if using PCR Buffer KCl. For an individual optimization of the reaction buffer add 25 mM MgCl₂ stock solution (PCR-266) as shown in the table below.
