Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-PIEZO1 antibody
Flow cytometric analysis of 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed THP1 (Human acute monocytic leukemia cell line) cells labeling PIEZO1 with MBS435119 at 1/200 dilution (red) compared with a mouse monoclonal IgG isotype control (black) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody, green). Goat anti-mouse IgG (FITC) at 1/300 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-PIEZO1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for PIEZO1
Pore-forming subunit of a mechanosensitive non-specific cation channel (PubMed:23479567, PubMed:23695678). Generates currents characterized by a linear current-voltage relationship that are sensitive to ruthenium red and gadolinium. Plays a key role in epithelial cell adhesion by maintaining integrin activation through R-Ras recruitment to the ER, most probably in its activated state, and subsequent stimulation of calpain signaling (PubMed:20016066). In the kidney, may contribute to the detection of intraluminal pressure changes and to urine flow sensing. Acts as shear-stress sensor that promotes endothelial cell organization and alignment in the direction of blood flow through calpain activation (PubMed:25119035). Plays a key role in blood vessel formation and vascular structure in both development and adult physiology ().
