Description

1-Kestose, the smallest fructooligosaccharide component, which efficiently stimulates Faecalibacterium prausnitzii as well as Bifidobacteria.

In Vitro

Faecalibacterium prausnitzii is anti-inflammatory commensal bacterium identified by gut microbiota analysis of Crohn disease. Bifidobacteria exerts a beneficial effect on atopic dermatitis (AD)[1].
