-20°CAlpha-lactalbumin is one of the major proteins in the alpha region after immunoelectrophoresis of human milk. It has been implicated as a component of the enzyme lactose synthetase which catalyzes the formation of lactose from uridine diphosphate galactose and glucose. ||Applications: |Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Rhodamine/IgG protein molar ratio (F/P): |~3.3||Excitation: |554nm||Emission: |573nm||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Rhodamine conjugates are light sensitive.
