-20°CCD90 (Thy-1) is an 18-35kDa GPI-anchored plasma membrane glycoprotein expressed in many cell types, such as in hematopoietic cells and neurons, connective tissues, various fibroblast and stromal cell lines, tumor endothelial cell lines and others. It is involved in T-cell activation, cellular adhesion, proliferation and migration, neurite outgrowth, wound healing, apoptosis, and fibrosis. CD90 participates in multiple signaling cascades and its effects are tissue- and cell type-specific. It often functions as an important regulator of cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/million cells
Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug/ml
Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1ug/500ug protein lysate
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
MOLT4 or HUT78 cells. Human cerebellum.
Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
