Labeled Glycochenodeoxycholic Acid 3-Sulfate. A bile salt formed in the liver from chenodeoxycholate and glycine, usually as the sodium salt. It acts as a detergent to solubilize fats for absorption and is itself absorbed. It is a cholagogue and choleretic.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Hygroscopic. Store under inert atmosphere.
