Cetrimide Agar
Catalog Number: B2017198 (500 g)
Cetrimide Agar is a high quality selective and differential culture medium used primarily for the isolation and identification of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a common Gram-negative, opportunistic pathogen. The medium contains cetrimide (also known as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide), which inhibits the growth of most bacteria other than Pseudomonas species. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various biochemical applications. It has also been used in a wide array of other chemical and immunological applications. Custom bulk amounts of this product are available upon request.
