EGTA coupled with Lysozyme can be an effective duo for cell lysis. It is more likely than EDTA to break down chloroplasts, making it an ideal choice for plant tissue culture.

This sterile EGTA solution has a pH of 8.0 and concentration of 1M. It is recommended as an elution buffer to be used with our Separopore line of agarose beads. bioWORLD carries all reagents necessary to prepare your own buffers, including Tris and Sodium Chloride solutions.
