Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgM and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against other rat heavy or light chain proteins.

Usage
Immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgM in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:20000 to 1:100000 of the concentration is suggested for this product. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
