Tissues were fixed in formalin after excision, and embedded in paraffin. Paraffin tissue arrays are 5-10um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Each tissue sample is about 2mm in diameter. A reference chart shows all the tissue names and their respective position on the array. This product can be used for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. It is an ideal product for rapid cellular localization of RNA and protein expression.

Each of the 5 slides contains the following tissue array:
Heart, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Pancreas, Spleen, Skeletal Muscle

Quality Control:
1. representative tissue arrays from each lot were stained with H&E
2. representative tissue arrays from each lot were used for in situ hybridization with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) antibody and p53 gene probe

Note: Every single tissue array is well maintained with good quality, but there might be some variations between slides, for example, one spot might be missing cells due to the end of serial cut; however, there should be no more than 3 spots that are without expected cells.

Shelf Life:
One year from the date of receipt under proper storage condition. Store free from moisture at room temperature.
