| Additional Information | Description: CD45 is the common leukocyte antigen and is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin except erythrocytes. CD45 exists as a number of different isoforms which result from alternative RNA splicing of exons 4, 5 and 6. The I3/2.3 monoclonal antibody recognizes a framework epitope present on all CD45 isoforms. The CD45 molecule has been implicated as playing a key role in thymic development and in antigen-driven proliferation of T cells. |
| Reconstitution and Storage | Store at 2-8C |
| Immunogen | T1M1 (Thy-1-c) cells |
| Concentration | 0.1 mg/mL |
| Specificity | CD45 |
| Characterization | To ensure lot- to- lot consistency, each batch of monoclonal antibody is tested by flow cytometry to conformto characteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative data are included in this product insert. |
| Warning | Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash withcopious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yieldstoxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide- containing compounds in running water beforediscarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing. |
